Before you upgrade

Use Microsoft's Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor to check if your Windows XP-based PC can run Windows Vista.

If your computer is UB-owned, contact your department’s IT support staff for advice and recommendations.

Vista Upgrade warning

If you are planning to upgrade an existing Windows installation to any version of Vista, you must un-install all Symantec products prior to starting the upgrade.

After the upgrade, install Symantec EndPoint Protection AntiVirus.
