UB_Secure
UB_Secure is the recommended access choice for UB's campus network. Your UBITName and password and all data transmitted from your device to the wireless access point (the campus network) are encrypted.
Configure your device to use UB_Secure:
- Windows XP
- Windows Vista
- Intel PROSet (Windows)
- Mac OS X
- Hand-held devices
UBVPN
If UBVPN is required to connect to a service using UB_Wireless, UBVPN may still be required, for example, iprint Anywhere and Microsoft Exchange email clients.
Policies
You must maintain the operating systems of your devices, install, continuously run and regularly update antivirus software.
Your privilege of network access requires that you comply with institutional and external standards for appropriate use.
