Managing your UBmail quota
Over quota: no new email
You will not receive email while you are over your quota.
Email sent to you while you are over quota is held for 5 days. If you reduce your usage within 5 days, any held messages will be delivered to you.
Messages are returned to the sender after being held for five days.
How to get back under your quota

| Mulberry | Press the Expunge button when you are in the folder which contains deleted messages. |
| Outlook Express | Select Purge Deleted Messages from the Edit menu. |
| Thunderbird | Right-click on the Trash folder and select Empty Trash or select Empty Trash from the File menu |
| UBmail | Delete messages and empty the trash |
Check your spam, junk, trash and sent-mail folders
If you do not empty these folders often they may be using up a large part of your quota. Remember to expunge, purge, or permanently delete any messages.
Save attachments to your computer or UBFS space
Save large attachments to another location and then delete the messages from your email. You can save attachments to your computer or your UBFS space.
