Your official leave of absence will ensure that your UBITName account remains active while you are away.
Requesting an official leave of absence
You must request an official leave of absence with Student Response Center (students) or Human Resources (faculty and staff).
Why did I get a deactivation notice?
Deactivation notices are sent automatically when you are no longer affiliated with the University at Buffalo.
Confirming your affiliation
CIT does not determine your affiliation with the University. To confirm your affiliation:
- Students: contact the Student Response Center
- Faculty, staff, and volunteers: contact Human Resources
Changes made by the Student Response Center or Human Services take at least one day to be transmitted to CIT.
If you believe you received the notice in error, please contact the CIT Help Desk (645-3542).
When your UBITName is deactivated you will no longer be able to use your account.
