Why did I receive a deactivation notice?
You are on an Official Leave of Absence
Your official leave of absence must be recorded with Student Response Center (students) or Personnel Services (faculty and staff). Contact the appropriate office about your official Leave of Absence status.
Deactivation notices are sent automatically when you are no longer affiliated with the University at Buffalo.
Confirming your affiliation
CIT does not determine affiliation. To confirm your affiliation status:
- Students: contact the Student Response Center
- Faculty, staff, and volunteers: contact Human Resources
Changes made by the Student Response Center or Human Services take at least one day to be transmitted to CIT.
If you believe you received the notice in error and you can not find yourself in the list above, please contact the CIT Help Desk (645-3542).
When your UBITName is deactivated you will no longer be able to use your account.
