SPSS is an integrated system of computer programs designed for the analysis of social sciences data.  The Base package includes the Regression, Advanced Stats, Categories, Custom Tables and Forecasting modules.

Purchasing SPSS 19

SPSS allows accesss and processing of files stored on network drives.

SPSS version 19 for UB students, faculty and staff is available for purchase from UB's e-academy store. Click the IBM SPSS tab, then the link for IBM SPSS Statistics 19 software. Choose the Windows tab, then add SPSS to your cart.

Alternatives to SPSS for Personal Use

R is an alternative statistical and graphical programming language available for free for personal use. R is also available for use on UBUnix.
