PuTTY

Installing PuTTY

1. When the Welcome window appears, click Run.
   
2. Ensure that Run the PuTTY 0.60 installer is selected, then click Run.
   
3. When the Welcome window appears, click Next.
   
4. Select the location where you want to install PuTTY, then click Next. The default location is recommended.
   
5. Select the Start Menu folder where you want the PuTTY shortcuts to be installed, then click Next. The default folder is recommended.
   
6. Select any additional options you want to use, then click Next. The default options are recommended.
   
7. Ensure that the installation options displayed are correct, then click Install.
   
8. Please wait while PuTTY is installed on your computer. When the installation is complete, select whether you want to view the README.txt document for PuTTY, then click Finish.
