Mulberry is an email client,available for both Windows and Macintosh computers, that is provided free of charge to UB students, faculty and staff. Mulberry uses Internet Mail Access Protocol (IMAP) to read your email. Other supported features include:

  • Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) protocol for sending and receiving attachments with messages
  • Internet Message Support Protocol (IMSP) to allow mail preferences and address books to be stored on a remote server
  • Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) for looking up global address lists

Mulberry stores your personal preferences, mail messages and address books on the email server.

Vista Users:
Mulberry's UB installation package does not work using the default directory of "C:\Windows\temp\Mulberry". Change the "Extract to" directory to: "C:\Temp\Mulberry" to install Mulberry on Vista.
