UBVPN (Virtual Private Network) allows you to securely send data to and from UB while using on-campus wireless or a non-UB ISP (Internet Service Provider such as Time Warner). Individuals with a valid UBITName and Password are able to connect securely to UB from their personal computer by using UBVPN. You should not use UBVPN when connecting from ResNet or when dialing in to UB’s modem pool. Wireless and other ISP users should use UBVPN software.

OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

You may need to reinstall the UBVPN client after upgrading to OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.
