SPSS is an integrated system of computer programs designed for the analysis of social sciences data. It provides the user with a comprehensive set of procedures for data transformation and file manipulation, and it offer the researcher a large number of statistical routines commonly used in the social sciences.

SPSS 16 is available for purchase from UBMicro.

There is a known issue when saving existing data files that appear to save but are missing from the system. To prevent this from occurring, explicitly save files via File->Save or the save toolbar button prior to exiting the application.
