Leopard

Leopard is the newest Apple operating system, also known as Mac OS 10.5. More information can be found on the Apple Leopard website. Apple is continuing to support Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger): there is no requirement to upgrade immediately.

What are the hardware requirements for Leopard?

Leopard hardware requirements are on the Apple website.

Before you upgrade

Leopard comes standard on new Apple Mac computers. If you have an older Mac that meets the UB hardware specifications and the Leopard hardware requirements, you may consider upgrading to Leopard.

You may encounter hardware or software compatibility issues with Leopard. You should therefore ensure that all your hardware and software will work with Leopard before upgrading, and of course, backup your data prior to migration.

Before upgrading to Leopard, we highly recommend un-installing the UB VPN client first, following these steps:

    1. Download the latest version of the UB VPN client
    2. Un-install the existing UB VPN client from your computer. For help with uninstalling the UB VPN client, check out our documentation.
    3. Once the UB VPN client is un-installed, perform the upgrade to Leopard
    4. Install the new UB VPN client when the Leopard upgrade is complete.
