Uninstalling Symantec AntiVirus
Note: You do not need to uninstall Symantec AntiVirus if you are updating from a previous version. You should only uninstall it if you will be installing an anti-virus product created by a different manufacturer.
- Double-click your hard disk, select Applications, then Symantec Solutions.
- Double-click Symantec Uninstaller.
- Select Symantec AntiVirus. Make sure the checkbox is selected. Click Uninstall.
- Click Uninstall.
- Enter your computer's Name and Password. Click OK.
- Click Close.
