Identity Finder
Identity Finder is software that scans files and email on your computer and locates Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Personally Identifiable Information is information that can be used to uniquely identify, contact, or locate a single person or can be used with other sources to uniquely identify a single individual, e.g. social security numbers, credit card numbers, or bank account numbers associated with a person's name or identity.

PII Within Email
If your email is on UB Central Exchange, Identity Finder will help you to identify email messages that contain PII directly, and you can click the Shred option to shred them.
If your email is on Central UBmail (IMAP or POP) or UBmail powered by Google, Identity Finder cannot shred messages that contain PII directly, but Identity Finder will identify those messages for you to delete manually.
