What is UBITName Login?
UBITName Login allows you to log in once per web session to gain access to many protected web resources.
Protect your privacy: close your web browser when you are done using protected web resources.
UBITName Login does not require plug-ins or any other software. However, your browser must be configured to accept cookies. This is the default configuration for all major web browsers. If you have disabled cookies in the past you will need to enable cookie support in your browser to use UBITName Login.
The first time you visit a UBITName Login-enabled service, you will be redirected to the UBITName Login server. Your browser will be automatically returned to your original destination once you establish your credentials by entering your UBITName and password.
After logging in with your UBITname and password, you can use any of the UBITName Login-protected resources without logging in again. These resources are listed on the Authenticated Resources page.
Important! Your browser will have access to all UBITName Login-protected resources until you close your browser.
Please keep this in mind when you are using UBITName Login, especially when using a computer other than your own! Close all web browsers to end your UBITName Login session.
