iprint anywhere pilot

Install on Windows

Windows XP

1. Download and install UBVPN.
2. Connect to UBVPN.
3. In the Control Panel, open Printers.
4. Click Add a printer to open the Add Printer Wizard, and then click Next.
5. Choose to add A Network Printer.. and then click Next.
6. Click Connect to a network printer.
7. Enter for the address: \\iprint.buffalo.edu\NAME
   NAME is the print queue name that you have chosen from the printer locations list.
8. When connecting to iprint.buffalo.edu you will be prompted to login. Login using UBITname prefixed with ad\ (ie ad\UBitName) and then enter your UBit password
9. Follow the instructions to install the driver and setup the print queue. Please note that this step will take several minutes to complete.

Windows Vista

1. Download and install UBVPN.
2. Connect to UBVPN.
3. In the Control Panel, open Printers.
4. Click Add a printer to open the Add Printer Wizard, and then click Next.
5. Choose to add A Network Printer.. and then click Next.
6. Click Select a shared printer by name.
7. Click The printer I want isn't listed.
8. Enter for the address: \\iprint.buffalo.edu\NAME
   NAME is the print queue name that you have chosen from the printer locations list.
9. When connecting to iprint.buffalo.edu you will be prompted to login. Login using UBITname prefixed with ad\ (ie ad\UBitName) and then enter your UBit password
10. Follow the instructions to install the driver and setup the print queue. Please note that this step will take several minutes to complete.
