CICS password rules
- Valid passwords can be any combination of characters or numbers
- Recommended length is 6 to 8 characters
- Repeated characters are not allowed
- Password should be unique and not a variation of your previous CICS password
- Passwords expire every 60 days
- Userids are suspended after 3 failed log in attempts
