UBVPN Client No Longer Functions

The UBVPN client no longer functions and has been removed from service. Use UB_Secure for wireless on-campus connections and the VPN Client AnyConnect for off-campus connections.

UB_Secure, Administrative VPN and the off-campus VPN client AnyConnect are unaffected by this change and remain available.

SAS 9.3 Available on UBUnix

SAS 9.3 is now available on ubunix.buffalo.edu. You should run SAS on ubunix.buffalo.edu instead of ubunix-old.buffalo.edu.

A new license for X-Win32 for Windows has been secured. If you installed X-Win32 prior to January 4, 2012, uninstall it, then download and install the version with the new license.

Spring 2012 iprint@UB Allocation Added January 3, 2012

On Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 your iprint@UB quota had the Spring 2012 semester allocation of 650 pages added. Any unused quota from the Fall 2011 iprint@UB allocation was carried forward.

Save time searching for an available computer in public computing sites. Click this Available computers icon to display a general list and select Lockwood, Capen, Fronczak or Abbott to view a real-time map showing available computers, computers that are in use and those that are turned off or down for repair. You can also click the icon in the computing sites list next to a specific location.
